Letter from the President

Barkers Heating & Cooling, Inc. has been in business since 1974.  The proud owners are myself, Thomas and wife Debbie Barker.  In 1974 I began my business from my garage in Bremond, TX.  By 1981, I outgrew that location and relocated the business to Hearne, TX.  I decided to expand the business even further in June of 1994 to College Station, TX and then on to Brenham, TX in February of 1998. 

 I, Thomas Barker, am the president of Barkers Heating & Cooling, Inc.  I graduated from Texas State Technical College in 1972.  Before beginning my own business, I worked for Franklin Air Conditioning for two years. I have earned the prestigious title of “DAD” after being blessed with three wonderful children who has since then graduated from Texas A & M University.  Not only do I have three wonderful children but have five wonderful grandchildren.  But even though I have been blessed with so much, my most precious treasure is Debbie Barker, my wife.

 Debbie Barker is the vice president of Barkers Heating & Cooling, Inc.  Before opening the business, Debbie previously owned and operated Bremond Furniture store in Bremond, TX.  In addition to her career, Debbie Barker has cherished her role as a mother of three beautiful children and five wonderful grandchildren.  One of her greatest source of joy is her husband, Thomas Barker with whom she has shared 40 + years.
